In this period of growth and expansion, ByteWex is looking for new members to join its Operations team—qualified individuals who share our passion for technology, innovation, and excellence, and who ideally have experience as SAP BASIS Administrators.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructures and applications, both internal and external
- Managing and maintaining SAP systems (both routine and project-based activities)
- Monitoring customer requests
- Handling technical support via a ticketing system, using our IT Service Management platform “ByteWex Solutions HUB”, based on Jira
Required skills
- Proficiency in various client/server operating systems (Windows, Linux – particularly RedHat and SUSE) and virtualization technologies
- Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Linux systems
- Strong expertise in cloud computing concepts and principles, containerization, and serverless services (GCP, AWS, Azure)

In-depth understanding of networking and IT infrastructure management

Familiarity with IT security practices and tools, as well as backup and disaster recovery strategies

Scripting skills in shell environments (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Batch), command-line interface (CLI) experience

Experience in system monitoring, performance optimization, and effective problem-solving
- Solid experience in SAP BASIS administration across ECC, S/4HANA, NetWeaver AS ABAP, and NetWeaver AS JAVA
- Strong understanding of SAP landscape design, architecture types, and configurations (both on-premises and cloud)

Knowledge of SAP setup, upgrade, migration, and monitoring tools

Familiarity with:

SAP Role Maintenance, User Management, Security Roles and Policies

System Maintenance, System & Client Copy, Rollout Projects, Migration Projects

Data Governance, Database and SAP HANA administration

SAP FIORI setup and administration

Advanced DBA-level knowledge of SAP HANA, Oracle DB, SQL Server, and Sybase
