For the expansion of the Electronic Systems department, we are looking for a versatile technical professional to work as a Firmware and Hardware Engineer, supporting both areas according to the company’s needs.

This is a dynamic role, involving both firmware development and hardware design for our battery-powered electrical products. The candidate will report to the Electronic Systems Manager and work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software, contributing to the optimization and innovation of our electronic systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Firmware development for motor control, IoT connectivity, FOTA, and human-machine interface based on CANBUS and FreeRTOS;
  • Design and development of electronic circuits for battery systems;
  • Management and storage of source code and technical documentation, evaluating ALM tools;
  • Collaboration with the firmware team to ensure hardware integration and system performance optimization;
  • Testing, validation, and optimization of electronic circuits and firmware functionalities.

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English language
  • Basic knowledge of the Italian language is considered a plus

Qualifications required

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics

Required skills

  • Has at least 4 years of experience in roles involving firmware and/or hardware development;
  • Possesses technical skills in both embedded programming (C/C++) and electronic design (preferably using tools like Altium or Cadence);
  • Is familiar with cloud connectivity technologies, IoT, and communication protocols such as CANBUS;
  • Has a good command of the English language, particularly in technical contexts;
  • Is passionate about new technologies and semiconductors.
